Bhattarai-led New Force's Interim Council holds first full meeting

KATHMANDU: The first full meeting of the former Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai-led New Force's recently constituted Interim Council kicked off in Sanepa on Saturday.

Bhattarai administered oath to the members on a 30-point commitment letter, according to New Force's Spokesperson Khimlal Devkota.

As many as 26 members aired their views in today's meeting.

Keshav Dahal, Devendra Paudel and Ganga Shrestha presented reports on the directives on party mobilisation and responsibilities of the New Force champions, the campaign's strategy for two months, the issues of public's concerns.

Members are scheduled to register their written opinions on the reports in tomorrow's meeting, Devkota said in a statement.
