BHOJPUR: A three-year-old girl died after a taxi drove into her in Bhojpur Municipality, the Bhojpur district headquarters, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Binita Ghanate of Tumlingtar, Khandbari-12 in the district, currently residing in Panityanki, Bhojpur Municipality-5.

The incident occurred when the taxi (Ko 1 Ja 2777) hit Ghanate killing her on the spot today, according to the District Police Office.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the four-wheeler and detained its driver Kumar Bishwakarma for the investigation.
