With increasing involvement of youths in criminal activities in Dadeldhura district headquarters Baghkhor and adjoining areas, DPO Dadeldhura has launched awareness campaign raising activities via local youth clubs in the district.

“We have launched awareness raising programme targeting Grade 11 and 12 students, as they are more likely to inflict serious crimes on society than adults,” clarified DSP Chakra Raj Joshi. He said youths were told about legal action against drug abuse, child marriage, rape and other anti-social activities. “We took the step after 2 youths were held for rape last week alone,” said DSP Joshi.
