MAHOTTARI: Property worth Rs 520,000 was stolen from a house in Gaushala Municipality-8 of Mahottari district on Monday.

According to police, unidentified thieves struck at one Manoj Saha's house and decamped with Rs 3,00,000 and INRs 1,00,00 in cash and ornaments made up of 1.4 tola gold.

The occupants were deep in sleep at the time of heist.
