Chure Bhawar’s show of strength in Madhes

RAUTAHAT: Chure Bhawar National Unity Party Nepal on Thursday staged a demonstration in Chandranigahapur of Rautahat seeking implementation of the nine-point agreement struck with the government in the past.

A rally led by party chairperson Badri Neupane took a round of Chandrapur town. The demonstration is said to be the first phase of their agitation.

Neupane said the agitation was launched with the intention of maintaining communal harmony in the country.

“The agitation has a mission and that is too protect national unity and sovereignty and ensure a Chure Bhawar province, besides piling pressure to end the ongoing blockade of India,” he said, adding that his party will launch the second phase of agitation to press for a Chure Bhawar province.
