KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday arrested Sharad Kumar Shrestha, an overseer at the District Technical Office, Kathmandu, red-handed while taking bribe. Shrestha has been exposed in the media today.

According to CIAA, Shrestha was arrested while taking bribe from construction entrepreneurs after calling them for discussions at Dhaulagiri Khajaghar in Samakhusi, Town Planning.

The contractors have been found to be related to the Kathmandu-Nanglebhare road construction project.
