CCTV cameras installed to trace leopard movement

Close circuit TV cameras have been installed at four different places of Bhanu Municipality, Tanahun, to monitor the movement of a leopard that strayed into a human settlement recently. The leopard has already killed two minors within a month in the municipality.

Inspector at Area Police Office Bhanu Jagat Dhakal said the CCTV cameras were installed at Pangdure Khola, Dhalebar, Rithabote and Thulopandhera of the municipality. He said security personnel had launched a search operation to take the leopard under control. Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and forest officers are searching for the leopard.
