Construction of International Expo Centre in Bharatpur Metropolitan City in full swing

Construction of International Expo Centre in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10, Chitwan, is in full swing. The Expo Centre is being built on the land belonging to the office of Cottage and Small Industry.

The construction work has been expedited as an internal expo is set to be organised at the International Expo Centre on November 3. Chitwan Exhibition Centre Construction Committee Coordinator Bhesraj Duwadi said the centre would be suitable for exhibition and additional work would start after the poultry expo of November 3.

The expo centre covers 60,000 square feet land, which will be divided into three categories for separate exhibition. A two-lane black-topped road has been constructed to reach the hall. A separate parking lot with the capacity to accommodate 200 two wheeler and 150 small four wheeler has been built.

Taken on lease for 30 years, the expo centre spreads in two bigaha and seven kathha land. Industry Union Chitwan Chapter chair Bhim Bahadur Pandey said an estimated cost of the project was Rs 370 million, out of which the Ministry of Finance provided Rs 150 million.
