CPN MC Chair Dahal elected PP leader

KATHMANDU: A parliamentary party meeting of the CPN MC held on Sunday morning unanimously elected the party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal as the parliamentary party leader.

The meeting held this morning appointed Dahal to the post unanimously, informed party spokesperson Pampha Bhusal.

The meeting also decided to take the initiative to resolve the issues in the unification of the party with CPN-UML through talks and consensus as well as well as push ahead the matter of party unification together with the participation in the government.

Meanwhile, Chairman Dahal will be discussing the party's directive principles and about giving full shape to the government in the talks to be held with UML Chair KP Sharma Oli later today, spokesperson Bhusal said.
