KATHMANDU: Two persons have been arrested in possession of fake Nepali notes from Charnath Municipality-3 of Dhanusha district on Tuesday.

The arrestees have been identified as Bimal Kishor Yadav (45) and Shiva Sharan Yadav (32) of Chorakoyalpur-7, police said.

Police deployed from the Dhalkebar Area Police Office had arrested the duo with the notes with a total face value of Rs 27,000.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
