Earthquake-hit Sindhupalchok health post reconstructed

KATHMANDU: The World Vision International Nepal reconstructed an earthquake-hit health post in Phulpingkot of Sindhupalchok district and handed over the facility to the government on Wednesday.

According to the WVI Nepal Office, it was a part of the INGO's campaign to reconstruct nine health posts and a birthing centre in various districts worst hit by the Gorkha Earthquake on April 25, 2015.

The WVI Nepal's Sindhupalchok District Manager Manika Subba said four health posts were reconstructed in the district.

Chief of the District Public Health Office, Dr Surendra Prasad Chaurasiya, was also present on the occasion.

The WVI had cooperated with a local NGO, Janahit Gramin Sewa Samiti, for the reconstruction.
