Employee crunch affecting regular works: CM Poudel

Chief Minister of Province 3 Dormani Poudel said daily activities of the provincial government as well as in the local levels were affected the most due to lack of staffers.

Inaugurating a two day workshop organised by the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Hetauda today, CM Poudel said that the federal government had yet to depute even the minimum number of staffers to the province and local levels. He added that the demand for technical staffers had been high.

CM Poudel said the people had been examining the province government’s performance and time was ripe to change the working style and mentality. He stressed on undertaking tangible and result-oriented projects. CM Poudel said it was necessary to mobilise available resources in the province for economic development.

Also speaking at the programme, Minister for Social Development Yubraj Dulal said the people needed to experience change as a result of development works.

Chief Secretary of the province Ananda Raj Dhakal said that the province government had been planning for the better and change would be felt in the days to come.

Minister for Internal Affair Salikram Jamkattel, secretaries of different ministries, representatives of local levels, social organisations, among others, were present at the programme.
