SOLUKHUMBU: A man was found dead in Dudhkaushikha Rural Municipality-5 of Solukhumbu district on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Basnet (48) of Dudhkaushikha Rural Municipality-2 in Solukhumbu district.

Basnet who was ill, had left home yesterday morning to consult a shaman for treatment, according to the Inspector Pradhyumna Adhikari at the  District Police Office, Solukhumbu. He was found dead in the evening.

Police suspect that he died after tipping over. His body has been taken to the Phaplu-based District Hospital for postmortem, said police.
