Flights at Juphal Airport resume after week

DOLPA: The Juphal Airpot in Dolpa district, which had halted operation due to a week-long incessant rainfall, has resumed flights from Sunday.

Clear weather made it possible for the re-operation of the Airport, said Dolpa office of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Flight is the sole means of transport in the district.

Locals of Dolpa and tourists visiting the district said they were happy as they would be able to travel again now.

Airline companies including Tara, Goma, Makalu operated flights from Nepalgunj to Dolpa on Sunday, informed the CAAN Dolpa office.

Meanwhile, supply of daily consumables also resumed with re-operation of the the Airport.
