HETAUNDA: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Makwanpur chapter founder, Nhuche Man Shrestha passed away on Tuesday. He was 77.

Shrestha was a resident of Hapru chaur-4 of Hetaunda. He was suffering from the chest and lungs related illness for the past many years.

Shrestha worked at the Rastriya Samachar Samiti for 36 years (1965 to 2001), and even served as the President of FNJ in 1990.

The final rites was performed at the Raptitat today itself.

Partap Bista, former central member of the FNJ Makwanpur chapter, said that the demise of Shrestha was a huge and irreparable loss to the field of journalism.

Shrestha is survived by his wife.
