SOLUKHUMBHU: A foreigner died after she suffered from altitude sickness in Solukhumbhu, on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be established, police said. She, however, is learned to be from Britain.

According to Police Inspector Tej Narayan Yadav of Namche Area Police Office, the dead woman was on a tour along with a porter.

Yadav informed that the body has been airlifted to Kathmandu.
