Fresh earthquake recorded in Humla of western Nepal

KATHMANDU: National Seismological Centre said that a fresh earthquake was recorded in Humla of western Nepal on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the NSC, a light tremor of local magnitude 4.1 hit the district at around 1:31 pm.

The epicentre lies at a location with coordinates 30.11 °N, 81.53 °E, northwest of district headquarters Simikot.

Apparently, the tremor originated from some depth below the Karnali River.
