‘Genuine demands will be met’

Rajbiraj, July 23

Nepal Communist Party central member and former minister for information and communications Surendra Karki today said the genuine demands raised by Dr Govind KC would be fulfilled.

Inaugurating the one-day training programme for party cadres on the occasion of 40th Pushpalal Memorial Day in Rajbiraj, Karki said the incumbent government was committed to ending perversion seen in education and health sectors. “The major goal of the government is to make education and medical services cheap and affordable to people. “For this, the government is committed and determined”, he added.

Karki claimed that party unification would take place up to the district level within a week as the statute for party unification had already been approved. “Party unification will take place in the municipality, rural municipality and ward level,” Karki added.

At the programme, another NCP central leader Guru Baral said the incumbent government was preparing to meet the historic responsibility of the country.
