JAJARKOT: A girl died after being swept away by the Thado Rivulet at Nayakwada-4 in Jajarkot district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sirjana Singh (12).

It has been learned that the incident occurred while she was crossing the rivulet yesterday night.

Singh's father Lal Bahadur had tried his best to save her from being washed away but to no avail.
