Government hikes public transport fares by 10 per cent
KATHMANDU: Citing the recent increase in fuel prices, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has decided to impose a ten per cent hike in public transport fares effective from Sunday.
The ministry took a decision to this effect following a discussion between government officials and transport entrepreneurs held at the ministry today.
