‘Government will complete full term’

Pokhara, November 27

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal said no force would extricate the KP Sharma Oli-led government from power before its full term expired.

Addressing an election meeting  organised by the party here today, the NCP (NCP) co-chair said there was no fault in the functioning of the incumbent government. “The present government isn’t so weak that anybody can easily unseat it from power,” he said. “We’ve almost completed the party unification process through our standing committee meeting. Now we’re focused on consolidating national unity, autonomy and territorial integrity,” he added.

Regarding the border encroachment by India in the west, Dahal demanded that India withdraw its troops from the Kalapani border, which is Nepal’s territory illegally occupied by India for long.

Furthermore, the ruling party leader also criticised the main opposition leader for airing irresponsible remarks and blaming the prime minister in the wake of the recently published political map of India that depicts Nepali territories as its national boundary.

“If Congress continues to speak lies, and this irresponsibly, the party will be consigned to history in the days to come,” he stated.
