KATHMANDU: A hand grenade was found in a field in Gulariya-7 of Bardiya district on Sunday.

According to Assistant Sub Inspector Nani Babu Basnet of the Bardiya District Police Office,  the grenade, number 36, was found at around 9: 25 am in a local field.

ASI Basnet stated that local Dhan Bahadur Khadka had informed them about the explosive.

A team of police has been deployed to the site, police added.

Police also informed that further details are yet to be ascertained.
