'Hello Sarkar' decentralised

HETAUNDA : The concept of 'Hello Sarkar' has been expanded after the  Central Regional Administration Office in Hetaunda also got a Hello Sarkar desk section in the district.

Chief Secretary Dr Somlal Subedi inaugurated the desk on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Chief Secretary Subedi said that the service has been decentralised to establish good governance and make concerned authorities accountable to their duties.

Secretaries at the Office of Prime Minister, Chandra Ghimire and Kamalshali Ghimire, said that the desk has been set up to facilitate government service to the people.

"Coordination would be provided and monitoring carried out if need be," the Secretaries added.

'Hello Sarkar' desk has already been established in Pokhara as part of its drive to expand the service at the regional level.

In the occasion, Central Regional Administrator Mukunda Prakash Ghimire directed concerned authorities to deliver their duty honestly, evaluate activities of their offices in every four months and send the report to the PM's office.

'Hello Sarkar' is a hotline telephone service set up with an aim to receive complaints from the general public about their concerns regarding the government services.
