‘Implementing statute key responsibility’

Province 7 Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta today said the main responsibility of the present government was to implement the constitution.

Speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of Constitution Day in Dhangadi today, Bhatta said everyone had to help in implementing provisions of the constitution. He added that coordination was needed among the three levels of government to implement the constitution. “Implementation of the constitution will help end all kinds of discrimination in society,” he said.

Province 7 Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Prakash Bahadur Shah said federalism had got full shape after election of all the three levels. “The governments of the three levels have been making laws,” he said. He added that the country would move towards development and prosperity after making the laws.

Governor Mohan Raj Malla, ministers of the province, PA members, mayor of Dhangadi Sub-metropolis, secretaries of different ministries, and staffers, among others, were present at the programme.
