Indian PM Modi going directly to Janakpur from Patna

KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be going to Janakpur directly from Patna of India in course of his official visit to Nepal on May 11.

The aircraft carrying the Indian dignitary will land at Bahra Bigha in Janakpur on May 11 and a senior minister from the Government of Nepal would welcome the Indian Prime Minister.

From Bahra Bigha, Prime Minister Modi would be travelling to the Janaki Temple where he will join his Nepali counterpart, Prime Minister KP Oli, in inaugurating the Ramayan Circuit, said Dr Kundan Aryal, Press Advisor to Prime Minister Oli.

After the inauguration of the Ramayan Circuit, Prime Minister Oli will return to Kathmandu while Indian PM Modi will attend a civic reception in his honour in Janakpurdham.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is yet to publish the Indian Prime Minister Modi's detailed itinerary.
