Indians held with weapon, yarsagumba in Parsa

PARSA: Police in Parsa district on Sunday made public an Indian national arrested along with a homemade pistol.

The arrestee has been identified as Mohamad Shumsher of Raxaul in India.

According to the DPO, Shumsher entering Nepal by the motorcycle (BR 22 M 3263) had aroused suspicion. He was held after the security personnel found the weapon hidden beneath the seat during a security check, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Giri.

In course of recording his statement, Shumsher had entered Nepal to loot a gold entrepreneur of Birgunj, police informed.

Meanwhile, police arrested two Indian nationals along with 100 gram yarsagumba in Darchula district.

The arrested have been identified as Anup Naganyal (19) and Mannu Rathaur (17).

The duo were arrested while entering Nepal.
