Japan shows concern

Kathmandu, December 1

Japanese Ambassador Masashi Ogawa today called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Bhim Rawal at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar.

Rawal told Ogawa that Nepal had never ever expected such measures from its closest neighbour.

Ogawa said shortage of essential goods had affected work of NGOs supporting earthquake victims.

He said Japan had asked all those concerned to resume supply of essential goods to Nepal.
