KATHMANDU: A youth has been arrested on charge of his 79-year-old grandmother's murder in Kaski district of western Nepal, police said.

Min Bahadur Karki (24), a resident of Baskot, Kaskikot, hacked his elderly grandmother Kali Karki to death using a knife, according to police. He had fatally stabbed her on throat.

The suspect was arrested today.
