Efforts are on to establish a kidney transplantation centre in Nawalparasi with support from non-resident Nepalis.

On the initiative of Liver Foundation Nepal and its branches across the world, preparations are on to establish the centre with all necessary facilities.

According to chair of the foundation Umesh Jung Rayamajhi, work on establishing the transplant centre was started with the objective of saving the lives of kidney patients.
