KATHMANDU: Dean of Lumbini Buddhist University Dr Bhadra Ratna Bajracharya passed way in Lumbini last night. He was 72.

He died of cardiac arrest in Rupandehi at around 1:00 am, according to the University Vice-Chancellor Dr Naresh Man Bajracharya.

Dr Bajracharya had been serving as the Dean since the past five years. He was a professor of history for around three decades with the Tribhuvan University.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

Meanwhile, the University has decided to shut all its offices to mourn the demise of Dr Bajracharya.
