Local poll will be held at any cost: DPM Nidhi

MORANG: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Monday said that the local poll would not be postponed under any pretext.

In a press meet in Biratnagar today, DPM Nidhi claimed that local poll would be held at slated time.

He further shared that Madhes-centric parties would participate in local poll as talks were in progress with them in this connection.

Nidhi had arrived here in Morang to provide relief to the families of Basudev Sah who was killed by Indian security force on May 25, 2010.

Local resident Sah of Amahi Bariyati village in the district, was killed by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) crossing Indo-Nepal border but had not got compensation yet.
