MAHOTTARI: The Mahottari District Police Office today found a man, who was reportedly kidnapped, blindfolded and with his hands tied, under the Haradi Khola Bridge in Khadairbeni of the district.

Sikindra Yadav (35) of Sonma VDC-2 was reportedly kidnapped at 9 pm on Thursday, police said. He was on his way home from his in-law’s house when he got kidnapped at Dewang, in Parsa, along the Gaushala-Samsi road section.

Personnel of Armed Police Force and Nepal Police had expedited the search for Yadav following a complaint of his disapperance lodged by his family on Friday.

Superintendent of Police Janak Bhattarai of the District Police Office informed that they would investigate into why and by whom Yadav was kidnapped.
