RUKUM: A person died on the spot after he fell from a cliff at Kalakharka of Bafikot Rural Municipality of Rukum district on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Kali Bahadur Khatri (45) of Bafikot Rural Municipality-2 of the district.

According to the Jajarkot District Police Office, Khatri fell some 100 metres from the cliff in Kalakharka while he was collecting fire woods.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
