Missing Nawalparasi youth found hiding in India

NAWALPARASI: Bal Krishna Kharel, a local resident of Amarapuri in Gaindakot Municipality of Nawalparasi, who has been out of contact for the past two weeks, was found hiding himself in India safely, police shared.

The investigation has revealed that Kharel was not abducted but had moved to India on his own, said Nawalpur Superintendant of Police Dipendra GC.

Though Kharel did not use mobile, he sometimes appeared online via facebook account with the geographical location in India, it was found in course of the investigation.

It was also revelaed with information support from Indian Police that Kharel had spent nights in Sundar Guest House at Gorakhpur, India.

Kharel was set to wed a local girl on February 5 but he had suddenly disappeared a day before the marriage ceremony.

Acting on the application filed by Kharel's brother Guru Prasad at the police office, police expedited investigation and search on the missing Kharel.

Based on Kharel's identity photocopy in the record of the hotel where he had stayed, CCTV footage and remarks of the hotel workers, police revealed the information that Kharel has been safe somewhere in India.

Police said that Kharel would be brought back to Nepal at the earliest possible.
