BHOJPUR: An eight-year-old child died on the spot in a bus hit incident while crossing the road along the East-West Highway in Bayarban-9 of Morang district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Limbu, son of Bal Bahadur Limbu of Bayarban-8, confirmed the East Regional Police Office, Biratnagar.

The bus (Ko 1 Kha, 2912) had hit the child at around 3:30 pm Today.

Meanwhile, the Pathari Area Police Office has impounded the bus.

The dead body of child has been sent to a Primary Health Centre for postmortem.
