Biratnagar, August 20

Family members and relatives of Tanka Bhattarai, 50, a security guard who was found dead at hardware shop in Biratnagar yesterday morning, staged protest and obstructed vehicular movement today, demanding arrest and action against people involved in his murder.

Bhattarai worked at New Bikki Hardware, owned by Nirab Agrawal,  as a security guard. Family members and relatives kept the body in the Koshi Highway and obstructed the street for an hour. Bhattarai’s relatives alleged that the police had failed to arrest anyone even 24 hours after the murder.
