NC must garner majority to institutionalise democratic republic says Deuba

RUKUM: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba asserted that Nepali Congress must win majority seats in the upcoming elections for the institutional development of federal democratic republic in the country.

At a programme organised by NC West Rukum here today, the PM said NC should get majority to institutionalise rule of law in the country.

He also cautioned the voters towards the activities carried out by the communists to put the democracy at peril.

"The terror would prevail if the communists' single party system was established in the country," Deuba added.

"People should vote for the NC to safeguard the democracy as the democracy has plunged into crisis," he shared.

He also charged the left alliance for being formed to impose totalitarianism in the country.

PM Deuba also urged the voters to cast their votes without any fear as the government has taken all necessary security measures.
