NCP (NCP) to win 80 per cent seats in by-election

CHITWAN: Co-chair of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal claimed that the party would win at least 80 per cent seats in the November 30 by-election.

In an election campaign at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 here today, Chairman Dahal, also former Prime Minister, argued that the incumbent government was working to give a message of stability, development and prosperity in the country.

Dahal said that the ruling government would protect national borders with firm determination. "The NCP-led government will not permit any forces to even touch the national border," he said.

Dahal said, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the other chairperson of NCP (NCP), will lead the government until the tenure of this parliament while working in the party.

On another note, he condemned Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba's remarks on border issues. He said Deuba's remarks were irrelevant and objectionable.
