Neha murder accused sent to life imprisonment with confiscation of property

POKHARA: The Kaski District Court on Sunday has convicted Kirtan Khadki, who was accused of raping and murdering Neha Pun three years ago, to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

According to bench assistant Lekhnath Paudel a single bench of District Court Judge Ramanath Paudel has sentenced Khadki to life imprisonment for murdering and five more years for raping the cine artist.

The convict has to spend 25 years in prison.

Lawyers duo Durgesh Raj Pant and Madhavi Pandey defended the case on behalf of Kirtan Khadki where as District Assistant Attorney Nawaraj Regmi and lawyer Surendra Thapa Magar debated for conviction of the accused.
