NAC halts flights to Bhojpur for next 15 days to repair two aircraft in operation

BHOJPUR: National flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has decided to halt its Bhojpur-Kathmandu flights for the next 15 days beginning from today.

The decision follows the necessity to repair both its Twin Otters, as stated by NAC Bhojpur Office Chief, Narayan Puri.

The (temporary) closure of the NAC services from the capital city to the eastern hilly district in Province 1 will cause inconveniences to the denizens of Bhojpur, mostly patients and elderly citizens are likely to be affected.

The NAC Kathmandu-Bhojpur services were available for four days — Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday — in a week. NAC Bhojpur informed that the flight to and from Biratnagar had already been brought to a halt for one-and-half months.
