NC candidate elected in Indrawati Rural Municipality

MELAMCHI: Nepali Congress candidate has been elected the chairperson of the Indrawati Rural Municipality here in Sindhupalchok district.

Bansha Lal Tamang mustered 5,365 votes against CPN-UML candidate Jhamka Nepal's 5,165 votes to win the local election.

In the post of Vice Chairperson, NC's Mira Adhikari Lama has been elected with 5,191 votes. Her closest contestant Saraswoti Adhikari from UML received 5,079 votes.
