Nepali Congress to join hands with Madhesi Front: Nidhi

JANAKPURDHAM: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi criticised the the CPN-UML-led government saying it was not serious towards addressing the genuine demands of Madhes.

He revealed that his party Nepali Congress was going to collaborate with agitating the Madhesi Front soon. Admitting that there are some weaknesses in the new constitution, he further pointed out the need for its amendment.

Laying foundation stone of a four-room building of Rajeshwor Nidhi Higher Secondary School at Nagaraen VDC in Dhanusha today, Nidhi said the government of foiled the environment of talks instead of taking initiatives to bring the agitating parties for talks.

The District Education Office, Dhanusha, has provided Rs 3.2 million for the construction of the building.

Meanwhile, he expressed his belief that rural economy would get momentum after completion of Jatahi-Dhalkebar road section.
