NC leader Hari Acharya dies at 44

POKHARA: Nepali Congress Kaski-chapter Vice President Hari Acharya died of cardiac arrest in Pokhara Lekhanath Metropolis on Wednesday morning. He was 44.

Leader Acharya was rushed to the Pokhara-based Manipal Hospital at around 10:00 am today. Upon reaching hospital, doctors pronounced him dead, according to hospital sources.

His mortal remains will be kept at the Pokhara-based NC party office for final tribute from 1:00 pm, said the NC Kaski-chapter President Krishna KC.

He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Acharya was also the former joint secretary of Nepal Tarun Dal. He was working as a the Chief of Kahun Drinking Water Project.
