Nepal's envoy to UN Vienna office presents credentials

KATHMANDU: The newly appointed Permanent Representative of Nepal to the Vienna-based United Nations Office, Prakash Kumar Suvedi, submitted his letters of credence to the UN Director General of the Vienna Office, Yury Fedotov.

Amid a function on Wednesday, Fedotov received the credentials on the behalf of the UN Secretary General, according to a statement issued by the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations and International Organisations.

In a courtesy meeting after the submission of the letters, DG Fedotov said that he was glad to welcome Nepal's representative to Vienna, mentioned the statement.

Fedotov also remembered his two-year-old visit to Nepal.

Fedotov said that establishment of Nepal's Permanent Mission to the United  Nations in Austria would further foster coordination between Nepal and the UN.
