Siraha, October 15

A 19-year-old youth was found murdered at Kasaha of Dhangadimai Municipality, Siraha, this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Bilash Yadav, 19, of Mahuwadanda of Dhangadimai Municipality.

According to Area Police Office Golbazaar, Yadav had left home with local Sujit Yadav and his brother-in-law Indrajit Yadav to attend a feast in the village last night.

Yadav’s body was found in a forest 300 metres away from Kasaha. Locals had reported to the police after they noticed the body.

Bilash was a tipper driver’s helper.

Inspector Ramhari Dhakal at Area Police Office, Golbazaar, said that Yadav might have been strangled to death. He had bruises all over his neck.

Police have arrested Sujit and Indrajit on suspicion of their involvement in Yadav’s murder from Biratnagar.

“Police were able to nab Sujit and Indrajit from Birtanagar with the support of Morang police,” Inspector Dhakal said. Preparations are under way to bring them to Siraha from Biratnagar, police said.
