MAHOTTARI: Normal life in Mahottari district has been affected due to traffic halt in the district for the past three days.

The traffic was halted after the Independent Transport Workers Association of Nepal, Janakpurdham, closed the transport services in Mahottari and Dhanusha for an indefinite period since Saturday after some youths manhandled bus driver and conductor at Janakpur-Jatahi on Friday.

Passengers and patients have been hit hard and different activities in the district have been affected due to disruption of transport services.
