TRISHULI:  A two-year-old minor, who had sustained burn injuries in Gerkhu of Nuwakot, died while undergoing treatment at the Kanti Children's Hospital in Kathmandu on Saturday morning.

The victim, Sushil Nepal, was critically injured after his three-year-old brother inadvertently set their hut on fire while playing at around 3 pm yesterday, according DSP Rishi Ram Kandel of the Nuwakot District Police Office. He was sleeping in the hut at the time of incident.

The boy was rushed to Kathmandu for treatment.

He breathed his last earlier this morning, DSP Kandel informed.
