LAHAN, SIRAHA: A person died and another sustained injury when two motorcycles collided in Sukhipur Municipality-2 in Siraha district on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Bikau Yadav of Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality-4 riding on the motorcycle (Sa 9 Pa 111) and the injured as Ram Udagar Mahato of Dhangadhimai Municipality-5 riding on another motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 1309).

The motorcyclists were critically injured as two motorcycles collided head-on along Zero Mile-Bariyarpatti road section last night.

Yadav died during the course of treatment at Lahan-based Saptarishi Hospital, said the police. Mahato was receiving treatment at the same hospital, said the police.
