DHADING: A micro-van and truck collided with each other leaving one spot-dead and seven injured in Prithvi Highway based Gajuri Rural Municipality-6 of Dhading district on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Sujit Shrestha, police said.

The micro-van (Na 2 Kha 8790) bound to Kathmandu from Gorkha district collided head on with the truck (Na 7 Kha 6019).

According to Sanjay Timalsina, Police Inspector at Dhading Police Office, said that four of the passengers who were seriously injured are being taken to Kathmandu for treatment while the other three passengers who had minor injuries have been taken to local health post for treatment.

Further investigations into the incident are underway.
