NAWALPARASI: A person died after the scooter he was riding on collided head-on with a motorcycle in Amarapuri, Gaindakot Municipality-15 near Jharahi river on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Sapkota (22), resident of Devchuli Municipality-14, according to police.

The incident occurred when the scooter (Na 27 Pa 7392) that was moving from east to west collided head-on with a Pulsar motorcycle (Ko 21 Pa 1923).

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
